About Marcia Moncur, RMT, BSc.

Marcia completed 3000 hours of studies in health sciences & 550 hours of practical training in massage therapy at Utopia Academy in Vancouver, BC.

She loves practicing massage because it is a natural & holistic method to help people feel better. She is trained to assess & treat a number of conditions including headaches, back, neck, shoulder & jaw pain, neurological conditions such as carpal tunnel & sciatica, digestive issues, pain during pregnancy, insomnia & more. Her goal is to create individualized treatment plans specific to her client's health needs.

In a treatment session, she works with a number of techniques such as swedish massage, stretching, trigger point release, myofascial release & craniosacral techniques to accomplish therapeutic goals. In addition, homecare exercises and recommendations are given and encouraged, to assist her clients to reach their desired level of health and well being.
